YOW ARITZ ARANBURU 30.5″ Surfskate

For the ones that doesn’t know him yet, Aritz Aranburu is one of the greatest surfers in the history of Spanish surfing. He has been the only Basque and Spanish surfer to be among the top 45 surfers of the world (WCT 2007).

He is charismatic and enthusiastic not only in surf but in every aspect of life as well. At the time we started to design his signature model, he already had clear ideas and an open mind, so the development of the YOW Aritz Aranburu Signature happened in a few days. The shapes have been designed according to his surfing style and his normal surfboard´s outline. The design is based on the world-known painting by Pablo Picasso, “Guernica”.
